Feedback talk:User/Naruuu/Earlier Traitpoints

From Guild Wars Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

My wife and I liked your trait ideas. A couple of changes would be:

Keeping the unlocking of the traits where the currently are at level 11. One point each level until level 20, two each level until level 30, and four each level until level 40. This marks a good mid point in leveling.

Also making additional builds available at level 50, 60, 70, 80.

Finally make these builds switchable while out of combat like the slotted skills.

Yes, Level 40 was my first suggestion, too, but than i thought so earlier so better^^.
Cause i didn't really like or know other online-games besides GW, it is good to hear, that the first feedback is supporting my idea. Greetings, --Naruuu 09:55, 25 July 2012 (UTC)

[edit] +1

I like the idea of offering a small number of builds that can be rotated for free. This provides an incentive to experiment early on and to switch roles (control/damage/support) often (compared to the current system, which discourages both activities).

I also support the idea of front-loading trait points (and then add the builds as part of the benefits of gaining levels). – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 01:20, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

I agree this would be ideal. It provides a good learning curve, rewards for leveling, a way to switch roles when needed without punishing experimentation and still includes a gold sink if one is needed. I also think this is easy for new players to grasp. Helyanwe 18:32, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

You make me all so happy, it is so depressing, that Anet will most likely ignore it... --Naruuu 21:43, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
