Source image: [1]. The image is clearly identified as "vocaloid", so it should be qualified as derivated work covered by Fair Act (no clue if you can license those as GFDL, but it shouldn't matter for this wiki's purpose).

Author appears to be identified as "gia". No clear statement about licensing is made, same as the previous Miku Hatsune images that have been uploaded to the wiki. Tagging as copyvio unless proof is shown about the license.--Fighterdoken 21:06, 18 January 2010 (UTC)

I would try looking for a webpage under .jp for the alleged author of the image, and check for licences there. Most known artists have sites for this, and this one looks prolific enough.--Fighterdoken 04:28, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Ok, so where is it stated that the new image is under GFDL or public doman? It might be uploaded on a wikia, but that doesn't mean that it's been uploaded there correctly (it might have been a copyvio there too). Also, Wikia uses a different license to us, so if it was uploaded there correctly, it could still be a copyvio here. -- pling 21:42, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
