Fonk is the child protegé of the Hoff, the master of Polymock. Fonk is the fourth opponent in the Polymock quest chain.

As part of the Polymock quest chain, he uses the following pieces (in order):

Before registering at least 3 Polymock pieces:

"You need to acquire your starter Polymock pieces in Rata Sum before we can play. There is a gate to the region in the Vloxen Excavations, west of here. When you get there, say hi to Hoff. He is the master of Polymock."

After registering at least 3 Polymock pieces, before being defeated:

"Aside from the Grand Master himself, I'm the world's greatest Polymock player. I laugh in your face! Ha ha! See? Laughter. Do you dare to challenge me?"

I wish to play you in a game of Polymock.

"You will be removed from your party and taken to a Polymock arena to battle Fonk. Do you wish to proceed?"

Accept: "Yes."

Decline: "No."

After being defeated:

"I told you I was the second greatest player in the world. What I didn't tell you is I am the second greatest *tournament* Polymock player in the world. Surprise, jerkface! Let's play by tournament rules now and you can witness my true skill! You'll need 1 comomn piece, 1 uncommon piece, and 1 rare piece to play. Are you writing this down?"
