The Footman, with only four attack skills and 480 health, serves only a small purpose in a GvG battle. Weak and easy to aggro, the footmen are usually among the first NPCs to be killed, and with little damage besides bleeding they do not pose a great threat. At VoD however, they are a useful meat shield and every bit of damage can help.
