The Footman, with only two attack skills and 480 health, serves only a small purpose in a GvG battle. Weak and easy to aggro, the footmen are usually among the first NPCs to be killed, and with little damage besides bleeding they do not pose a great threat; however, in a close match, they are good for a team to fall back to when needed.
