Requests for comment

Requests for comment are for assisting editors in gathering further input on any wiki matter. This can be useful in generating discussion, resolving disputes, or reaching consensus. All editors are welcome to assist with a request by responding within the linked talk page. Remember that Guild Wars Wiki operates on a system of consensus rather than voting, and explaining your reasoning can generally be more helpful than simply supporting one side of a dispute.

To create a new request: add an item to the top of the list below, providing a brief, neutral summary of the issue and linking to an appropriate talk page section, without using alternative text for the link.

[edit] Requests for comment

Now that CheckUser has been installed, who should be given the capability to use it?
Should it be acceptable for users to ask sysops to respond to personal attacks by asking sysops to provide warnings on their behalf? What about third party witnesses bringing up personal attacks on the admin noticeboard? Should sysops provide warnings of their own initiative when they become aware of personal attacks against other users? Should users be blocked for severe personal attacks even if they have never been warned?
Split and then merge the pages?
Do we want to standardize these dialogues via these templates? There is also a second version proposed, currently located at User:42/Sandbox/NornNHPDialogue1 and User:42/Sandbox/NornInitDialogue1 in response to functionality concerns addressed by some users.
Permanent bans, existing and moving forward.
This policy needs to be updated, as it contains outdated information on Wikipedia's licensing terms.
Should we request the installation of cite.php, allowing inline citations and footnotes like on Wikipedia?
How should materials be arranged for armour types with more than one material?
Update templates/use DPL to help players find guilds that suit them?
Some questions and answers are out dated and i am sure we could add more questions from the time of the last edit.
This needs to stop being a proposal. Seeing as how it has been referenced in the past, a final revision is called for before approval.
A formatting guideline proposal for dungeon articles that needs review.
A suggestion to split out dungeon specific information into its own template, as the location template is pretty huge and unwieldy.
Should Welcome templates be specifically disallowed by policy?
Regarding the documentation of community-hosted events.
Is it allowed to combine the {{Guild infobox}} template into new templates for Guild pages, or does the page have to include that exact template?
