  • Air Attunement Air Attunement: decreased casting time to 1 second; decreased recharge to 30 seconds.
  • Earth Attunement Earth Attunement: decreased casting time to 1 second; decreased recharge to 30 seconds.
  • Elemental Attunement Elemental Attunement: decreased casting time to 1 second; decreased recharge to 30 seconds.
  • Fire Attunement Fire Attunement: decreased casting time to 1 second; decreased recharge to 30 seconds.
  • Invoke Lightning Invoke Lightning: decreased damage to 10...74...90; decreased recharge to 6 seconds.
  • Water Attunement Water Attunement: decreased casting time to 1 second; decreased recharge to 30 seconds.

  • Angorodon's Gaze Angorodon's Gaze: decreased Energy gain to 3...10...12.
  • Barbed Signet Barbed Signet: decreased Sacrifice to 8%; changed functionality to: "You inflict Bleeding for 3...13...15 seconds on target foe and all adjacent foes."
  • Barbed Signet (PvP) Barbed Signet (PvP): merged with PvE version; this skill now functions the same in PvE and PvP.
  • Masochism (PvP) Masochism (PvP): decreased Energy gain to 1...3...3.
  • Oppressive Gaze Oppressive Gaze: decreased Poison and Weakness durations to 3...10...12 seconds.
  • Signet of Suffering Signet of Suffering: changed attribute to Blood Magic; removed casting time; decreased recharge to 4 seconds; changed functionality to: "You suffer from Bleeding for 6 seconds. The next Necromancer skill that targets a foe causes Bleeding for 2...13...16 seconds."

Ritualist[edit]

  • Consume Soul Consume Soul: changed functionality to: "Elite Spell. You steal 5...49...60 Health from target foe. All hostile summoned creatures in the area of that foe take 25...105...125 damage."

  • Ran a build to address usage of residual bugged skills.

  • Fixed a crash bug related to Mercenary Heroes in parties.
  • Fixed a bug that caused dye colors to display inappropriately on the character select screen.
  • Fixed a bug that caused costume effects to display improperly on Mercenary Heroes.
  • Fixed a bug to prevent players from joining Pre-Searing quests prematurely.
  • Fixed a bug that set the level of enemies in Pre-Searing quests to the highest-level player in a group instead of the lowest-level player.
  • Fixed a crash bug related to Mercenary Hero secondary professions.
  • Fixed a bug that caused UI panel locations to be reset.
  • Updated localized text for the In-Game Store.
  • Fixed a crash bug in Embark Beach.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Nicholas the Traveler to spawn out of players' reach.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Nicholas the Traveler from appearing for certain players.
  • Fixed a bug that caused max-level scythe drops to have incorrect minimum and maximum damage.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Pious Assault (PvP) to recharge instantly instead of 75% faster.
  • Fixed localization for Attacker's Insight and Zealous Sweep.
  • Fixed a bug that caused "By Ural's Hammer!" to resurrect all allies.

Embark Beach[edit]

Heroes[edit]

  • Mercenary Hero Slots are available for purchase from the In-Game Store and the NCsoft Store.
  • Added Mercenary Registrars to the Great Temple of Balthazar, Lion’s Arch, Eye of the North, Kaineng Center, and Kamadan, Jewel of Istan.
  • Raised the party maximum on Heroes from three to seven.

Pre-Searing Updates[edit]

Title Updates[edit]

  • The Drunkard title now awards points based upon the number and strength of drinks consumed.
  • The Survivor title now awards rank based upon the most experience gained between deaths.

UI Updates[edit]

Guild Wars Wiki notes[edit]

  • Many user interface windows were reset to their default sizes and locations. For those who have wide computer screen resolutions, those windows were moved to the middle of the screen.
  • Heroes are now sorted by profession in the "Add a Hero" drop-down menu and Party Search panel.
  • The functionality of the "Leave" button in the party window has been changed, allowing players to kick all heroes from the party.
  • The Zaishen Mission cycle has been reset and Pogahn Passage now has a quest.
  • /deaths now correctly displays experience gained since death.
