[edit] Archons Ascendant [Arch]
Archons Ascendant was founded in November of 2006. Despite being a relatively young guild, it is led by veterans of the game who have been playing since the release of Guild Wars. Arch is primarily a PvE guild, but frequently engages in PvP as well. Arch's "guild mission" is to help make the world of Guild Wars as fun as possible for as many players as possible. Its members are very laid-back and enjoy playing with everyone, especially those who look like they could use a helping hand. Arch honors its most helpful members every month with a special "profile page" dedicated to those players. [edit] AccoladesOur members are eager participants in all of the contests associated with Guild Wars, and they have won a number of them. Sciros Darkblade was named a winner in 2005's Brand The Boss contest for the name Wroth Yakslapper. He was also given an honorable mention in 2006's Factions Emblem Contest, and was named a winner in 2006's Nightfall Emblem Contest. This emblem is used in Arch's cape. Leon Of Troy was awarded an honorable mention in the 2006 Design A Weapon Contest. He was named a winner in the 2007 Design A Weapon Contest, creating the Glacial Blade which will be proudly wielded by many members of Arch. [edit] GameplayArch is largely a PvE guild, but its members engage in a variety of gameplay, which includes Heroes Ascent as well as Alliance Battles. Arch also frequently hosts alliance-wide "events" that range from scheduled run-throughs of Elite missions to custom scrimmage tournaments.
