While small in size, we make up for it in friendship and camaraderie. Currently, guild members are working towards at least 30 points in the Hall of Monuments per account to prepare for Guild Wars 2.
The Call of Honour's History
The Call of Honour's Philosophy
The Call of Honour is a strictly PvE guild. It was the Call of Honour which brought the ideals of Real Life before Virtual Life to The Rusty Rose alliance. Further, all current members of the Call of Honour are active duty or have military experience. It was this common trait shared by friends of Call of Honour which resulted in the Ideals of Conduct being drafted by The Rusty Rose.
Ideals of Conduct
A Party Leader should:
- define goals of the party before exiting a town,
- give directions for goal completion,
- make requests for action,
- call priority targets,
- disapprove negative behavior that weakens party unity,
- spur constructive discussion on what the group needs to or could do better at,
- leave no one behind, and
- leave no one’s goals unfinished.
Members should:
- give full support for All party member goals (Failure is only temporary if you are doing your best.),
- make appropriate suggestions to deal with obstacles,
- disapprove negative behavior that weakens party unity,
- take part in constructive discussion on what the group needs to or could do better at,
- leave no one behind,
- leave no one’s goals unfinished, and
- follow directions.
Above all, remember Real Life before Virtual Life.
Recruitment
Most active members in the alliance are mature adults. There is no set age limit, but along with a healthy sense of humor - some sense of decorum and propriety is expected. Promotion to officer is based on maturity, effort on behalf of the alliance, and an artificial limitation on slots. Currently the guild is not recruiting due to active duty status of its leadership.
