Every story has a beginning, even the tale of the authors.

Ours starts in the Burtok Auditorium, Riverside Province, Kryta. The home of an organization known as the Colloquium of Scholars, the beautiful - totally self-sufficient - town is filled with a most unlikely assortment of scholars, bounty hunters, mercenaries and every other person under the sun.

Originally founded in the very earliest of humanity's years, as a library for the dark secrets of the god Abaddon, after he was imprisoned by the Five, they turned away from him, to follow Dwayna's teachings, yet still the old secrets lie in the Catacombs beneath. More recently, with the Ascension of Kormir, many of the scholars and priests of the Auditorium have forsaken their god yet again, this time for the Goddess of Truth.

Below the main hall of the Symposium, the communal area for all people with any ties to the organisation, and location of the working rooms of the higher-ups in the organization, lie the Catacombs - hundreds of networked tunnels stretching right under Kryta, hiding ancient and forgotten secrets locked behind sealed doors no one can open. These tunnels are used for getting around the country safely, with no danger from wildlife (apart from a few roosting bats, of course), and hide yet another secret from the eyes of the world - an Asura Gate, linked to one below Kaineng, giving the Colloquium's allies complete access to all parts of the world with little effort.

Of course, an Asura Gate implies relations to the Asura, which has been going on for nearly three hundred years, though at all times it has been shaky at best. Though now, with them removed from their old, subterranean home, they have been getting progressively better, the Asura realising the high average intelligence among the scholars, and already forming plans to use them.

Because the Auditorium is open to everyone, as long as they have a wish to learn. You will find no racial, gender or age discrimination in its halls, every one of their members having proven their worth.

Welcome to the Colloquium of Scholars. The year is 1082AE, and the story is yours to make.

Recruitment

The Colloquium is currently looking for roleplayers of all types, ages, races and whatnot! We hope to offer a friendly, non-judgemental environment for roleplay and gaming.

We've just started out and are looking for loyal members who will help our guild to grow, with a grand masterplan of having maybe twenty to thirty characters of all types so we can have parties and stuff. We have no requirements apart from the fact that any applicant must be happy to be in a predominantly roleplaying environment (but that doesn't mean we don't go bash some monsters' heads in, or beat up some unsuspecting Luxons, or people who just like... feel like doing some arena-ing and things, because that's all epic too!)

If you're interested in the guild, but have never tried roleplaying before, or are unfamiliar with ingame roleplaying, we'd be happy to give you a crash course in it, because we're all very helpful like that :)

So... If you're interested (which we hope you are, if you've managed to get this far down the page without tearing your hair out), just give one of us friendly officers, or our Fearless Leader, a yell. You can reach us ingame or through a wiki talk page, if you really don't want to wait, or if you don't think you need any more information and just want to jump right into applying, go visit our forum and have a poke around. We promise, none of us bite.

So, without further ado, the great big fun list of people to talk to!

Our leader is Markus Enthenrad. You can reach him via that name, or his alt account, Lady Alice Whittard. Our lead officer is Lily Harven. You can reach her (for yes, she is a she, and don't forget it!) via that name ooooor her alt, Nathaelia Elwvyan.

Have fun!
