This journal documents the Series of Events that takes place throughout the land. It has been written so that it may assist other adventurers with their journey. Please do not tamper with its contents, so that you may not mislead other readers. [edit] How DUSK is involved with the world

The written story on this page represents a fictional documentary about DUSK. It is based on the Guild Wars Time line, but has added information about DUSK. Read at your own desirer, and most importantly DO NOT TAMPER with the information regarding DUSK and its involvement.

Right after The "Guild Wars" we the members of DUSK, settled down in Tyria (Specifically, Ascalon). We began as a group of a mixture of militia, farmers, and scholars. After the "Guild Wars" we thought we were safe,but we were wrong. Thankfully through the guidance of our Elders, we had still trained while others had not. We were mocked by others, but we endured. When the dreaded day came that uprooted our recently established lives, we were called by the king to serve the country. We accepted even though most of us weren't from Ascalon, but there was really no one else left to fight.

While some of us still fought among the Ascalon army, others took advantage of the "Second Treaty of Lion's Arch", and recruited more members from the foreign land Cantha. This proved quite beneficial, due to new fighting styles that were introduced by the Canthans. We fought with our new brethren and managed to obtain a gift, of a large island that we could finally call home.

We decided to travel North and reach Lions Arch so that we could travel to foreign lands and gain more knowledge. We split our forces so we could help our Canthan brethren with a threat in their homeland. While we were at Lions Arch we found out about a threat to our homeland and we protected Tyria against it. While we were in the Crystal Desert we came across a group of Sunspears of DUSK that were in need of help.

We came across some bizarre land North of Ascalon. It was filled with strange creatures unlike anything we have yet encountered. Some of the creatures were more hostile towards us than others, but we managed to gain their respect when we fought alongside them in battle. The Asura were intrigued by our thirst for knowledge, and they became very eager to teach us new ways. (Truthfully, I think their amusement of us, contributed more than our willingness to learn).

With the opening of the trade relations between Tyria and Cantha by the "Second Treaty of Lion's Arch", many of us traveled to Cantha and we helped the Canthans and taught them new techniques. Because of our assistance we were formally accepted into their culture. We built homes in some of our settlements on Shing Jae Island. We respected and accepted the Canthan culture as our own, and we had many Canthans, both young and old, wanting to be taught our ways.

A dangerous threat came to Cantha and we fought back with the aid of our Cantha brethren. We were summoned by Emperor Kisu, to defend Kaineng City and all of Cantha, from this new mysterious threat. We accepted our mission and we did all that we could to defend Cantha from this threat, but with our current numbers, we couldn't hold out much longer against the infinite Afflicted army. We were going to fight to the last man and kill as many Afflicted as possible. Rations began to run low after we were cut off from supplies and we knew this would be our last battle. We drew our weapons and prepared to assault the enemy forces. We held firm against the first wave taking few casualties in our ranks. We were flanked by a second wave and our formation was broken and we were scattered under the endless sea of Afflicted.

When all seemed lost we saw a pillar of smoke towards the north. There was the sound of a battle horn, but it wasn't Canthan or Tyrian. The ground began to tremble and we heard the shouts of men! Thousands of soldiers charged towards the Afflicted, flanking the enemy from the rear. The Afflicted turned to face the new threat and they allowed the DUSK Canthan 3rd Division to regroup and flank the Afflicted from the south. A Tyrian horn was head from the east, and the DUSK Ascalonion 5th Division, charged into the Afflicted from the east. The Afflicted routed towards the west, but their retreat was halted by a group of DUSK assassins. The Afflicted had nowhere else to run, and they were trapped within our forces.

After the battle was over we were informed that our leaders were fighting Shiro while we fought the Afflicted army. Shiro was defeated, but at a great loss to the Canthans. The Emperor's brother was slain and his death was mourned by all of Cantha. We and all of DUSK were rewarded for protecting Cantha from Shiro, and we were given an island that was a place that we could finally call home.

Some of us were cut off from the rest of DUSK while we were helping Ascalon, and we wandered around searching for the rest of DUSK. After awhile of searching, we found ourselves in Vabbi. This new land we had heard of in Myths, but we had never thought that it was real. The Vabbian Officials were intrigued by the knowledge and wisdom of our Scholars, and we were eagerly accepted into their culture. The Vabbian Officials assisted by the Nobles Of DUSK helped make new laws that would make all of Elona a better place.

We decided for some of us to go to Istan and learn about the legendary Sunspears. The Sunspears, eager to learn new fighting styles, gladly welcomed us into their culture. We taught the Sunspears and the Sunspears taught us in return. Many Sunspears joined DUSK and our forces became an even more deadly force. We learned about our Canthan allies in need and we sent a army of our finest warriors, to assist our brethren in combat.

A threat arose in Elona and we were there to defend this new land from it. While we were in the Desolation we came across Tyrian members that came from the Crystal Desert. We finally found our long lost companions from Ascalon, and they were eager to assist us with our mission. Some Canthan members arrived, along with the army we sent to assist Cantha, and they joined our army and helped us with our cause. Along with the combined strength of our brethren from all around the known world, we turned the tides of war and Elona was safe once again.
