About Us
We are a social guild and welcome players of all experience levels. Our aim in playing Guild Wars is to enjoy ourselves through helping each other. The guild sometimes holds competitions (mainly when we need a new cape) and contests. Player achievements are recognised with various awards.

History
An international gaming clan, Descendants of Ancaria (Clan DA) was founded in 2004 by a group of dedicated players seeking to band together to help each other succeed in multi-player games. The clan's name pays homage to the gaming world in which our founding members met and formed the basic philosophy that the clan was built upon. The diverse membership of Clan DA is now active in several online games. More information available here
Descendents Ancaria (somehow the 'of' was lost) guild was established at the first opportunity, during the second preview weekend in early 2004. It has thrived through all three chapters (plus expansion), and joined The Last Platoon Alliance in 2006.
Rules and guidelines
Due to COPPA requirements, the minimum age for members is 16 years. Registration with the clan is encouraged and Clan DA's simple rules apply. Realising that people have other commitments, we have no minimum playing time requirement. The number one rule is "Real life conquers all!".
Joining the Guild
Descendants Ancaria welcomes new members.
Joining is easy. An ingame message to any member of the leadership team will get you an invitation into the guild, however, registering to join Clan DA's gaming community on our online forums is encouraged; that way we get to know you and you get to see how well wearing the [DA] cape suits you. Guild membership is automatic for clan members.
