Electronic Warfare [EW]

Electronic Warfare is a small-sized guild that was created on the first day Guild Wars was released. Our clan which is Electronic Warfare, decided to start a Guild Wars section and we have grown from there. Our members enjoy PvE, and the odd AB or Scrimmage. The Officers often join each other to complete missions, Recruit and just have fun.

Current Goal

Rebuilding. We are currently rebuilding and awaiting the release of GW2, we are passive and are not going into towns, or outposts to recruit, we do a little bit of everything, PvE, PvP and on some occasions just sit in the Guild Hall and talk about, well, anything.

Recruitment

Recruitment is done by officers as they play with someone they like, in a mission or during PvP, if the officer thinks "hey this is a nice person who might be able to add some sort of positive to our guild" they will offer up a spot in the guild, this way the possibility of "certain persons" getting into our guild is diminished. If you would like to go through a mission or you see any of our officers, just ask, the only way we let people in now is through a mission, where we will talk to them and try to get to know them a bit better.

History

Electronic Warfare's Name comes from its original clan, which is currently out of luck with most of its members gone, Accaile Minister is one of the original along with a few others who have not forgotten what EW used to be, our guild consisted of 40 members in the beginning all of which were in the clan/guild. While things were going well our original clan played more than just Guild Wars and was strictly PvP,GvG and PvE oriented, as it still is today, also the original leader who is now in the British military and not in active participation, Shajura Drakehearder is returning one day. Accaile will inform you of a story soon, let me just get a hold of an original officer. Nevertheless, all of this lasted only a year; the guild had a very good run while it lasted. The guild fell apart soon after our long time creator Shajura first left for military training and by the time most of the members were gone Accaile was left with For Our Brothers a.k.a. Panzer. Panzer was then left with control over the entire clan/guild and only a month later appointed Accaile Minister as Leader of the Guild Wars section. Accaile was left with control and so he decided that he would attempt to restart the guild, he did about 3 times before he was about to disband the guild and join another but something happened, only about 2 months into factions a random person asked "can i join your guild" Accaile paused and said yes. The persons name was Sir Knive a new player to factions and only one week in Electronic Warfare began seeing its first members in months. The guild then grew to 20 people with some unique styles but as fast as the fun started it died out and Electronic Warfare was back in the ditch. Accaile probably tried about three more times until try number 7, one of Accaile's long time friends asked to join the guild later, which he invited a person called Fenris Blackhardt, Accaile, came back about one week later to find his guild at 15 members. From that point Electronic Warfare is what it is today with 35+ members a new Guild Hall and Cape. The guild is now in a strong position and all the members have a strong belief that the fun will go on.

History We are currently in the rebuilding phase of the guild. Just a little history lesson: we were a 60+ member guild that disbanded due to inactivity of our officers & members (work, school, life, etc). We all went and joined other guilds but realized that it is not the same and not the much fun to play without your friends. Here we are again so let the good times roll!
