Furious Dragons Reign [FDR]

What kind of guild is [FDR]?

Furious Dragons Reign was a friendly, cooperative guild with a social alliance. More focused on PvE than PvP, [FDR] hosts weekend events for their alliance, many of which being elite areas such as Urgoz's Warren, The Deep, Underworld, Fissure of Woe, and Domain of Anguish. Our previous guild leaders Alex and Madeline have retired from Guild Wars waiting for GW2. They are always welcome back into the guild at any time. We also have a Facebook page [FDR Alliance].

Anniversary Celebration

The party is on for the anniversary of Guild Wars! Starting April 22nd at Noon Pacific (-7 GMT), we open Shing Jea Boardwalk, Dragon Arena, and the Rollerbeetle Races. Factions Elite Bonus

Kanaxai and Urgoz welcome your challenge! The Deep and Urgoz's Warren are open all week. Speak to Vash and Eurayle in Kaineng Center if you dare to go. Weekly bonuses last until 3 PM GMT on Monday.

Random Arenas Bonus

Are you ready to face any challenge? Receive double Balthazar faction and double Gladiator title points while fighting in Random Arenas! Weekly bonuses last until 3 PM GMT on Monday.

I Have a New Key

If you've just purchased a Guild Wars product, click on the 'Create Account or Add Access Key' link in the login dialog to add your new access key.

Update -- April 10, 2024

Fixed a bug where ctrl-clicking on your XP bar (which announces your XP level and progress) when at max XP would crash any game clients that received the message.

Update -- April 8, 2024

Fixed a bug where loading a character with 4,294,967,294 internal XP would crash the game client as soon as any additional XP was added.
- Now, anytime a character would gain additional XP which would exceed 4,294,967,295, that character will instead receive zero XP and remain in the game.
- This new behavior appears as "+0 XP" (rather than the XP earned) floating above your character and will appear only for extremely old characters.

Update -- March 26, 2024

Dishonorable has been re-enabled.
Leech reporting is only disabled in Random Arenas.
The maximum number of times a player can Report (of any type) is now 20 times per 24 hours (previously the limit was 50).

If you want a page please let me know. If you need help on recruiting for the guild it is VERY easy. Press the 'G' button to bring up the Guild box. On there is a spot to type in for Invitees. Type in their name EXCACTLY as it appears to invite them. (It will cost you 100 gold, so you may ask them to provide it for you, but then most people won't join). If you cannot find the Invitees spot SCROLL DOWN to the bottom of the list of members and officers to find it.

Type "/bonus" from your chat line in a town or guildhall to get a set of free weapons

Guild Wars Beyond: The transition from GW to GW2

Chapter 1: War in Kryta (WiK) - MUST have both EOTN and Prophecy games, and MUST have completed one of those two (recommend EOTN for non-Prophecy characters)

Note: In addition to farming for specific items, Craft Trading is one of the fastest ways to gain gold.

Beginner Farming:

For beginners and low-level characters, one starting area could be farming Mantid Pincers in Sunqua Vale, and trade 3 of them to Marik Kuri for one Salvage Kit, Identification Kit or Belt Pouch. Merchants sell these items for 100gp each. One may be able to sell to players for 50gp each (about half way between what the traders are willing to sell and buy). Sunqua Vale is just East of Shing Jea Monastery in Factions. Marik Kuri can be found near the water edge to the south of Sunqua Vale. Repeat mantid pincers farming as needed.
Note 1: the drop rate and quality of the drop will decrease if over-farming in an area. It is recommended to farm, go elsewhere to farm, and come back at another time. In some cases like buried treasure farming, it could take a month or more before the drops/rewards return to normal.
Note 2: since hero(es) and/or hench(es) are part of the party, eventhough you do not see the drops, they will have equal share of the drops including gold coins. To maximize your farming, you may want to farm solo.

Granite Slab/Lump of Charcoal/Gold HM farming with 55-necro, can also be done with SoS
Raptor farming with E/Me in NM, HM, with W/N, with N/W
Feather farming tips and locations

Elemental Sword farming outside of Rata Sum against Wind Rider (Tarnished Coast)
Buried treasures farming can yield about 20k in cash plus gold drops PER character (not account-based). It is recommend that your character has completed Nightfall. Recommend to farm in Normal Mode since Buried Treasures farming in Hard Mode seems to have no impact on the quality of the treasure. That character will be unable to do Buried Treasures farm again for a period of time. Over-farming will result in lower quality drops (example: purple/grape drops rather than gold drops).
