Alliance Events and Activities

• We like to keep things as chill as possible. We tend to lean towards the DiY side of gameplay. We do team up from time to time though!
• We enjoy long walks on Krytan beaches and playing tag while our leader works on his drunkard title.
• Above all when it comes to this game there's two sayings that generally apply to Strength Through Defiance. "Farming ftw" and "I don't wanna think about it: I just wanna have a good time".

Note: You'll also want to check alliance chat often, as we may have different activities beginning or being planned.

Rules and Joining

There are a few basic rules in our guild.

• 1. For the love of Balthazar please, please, please don't spam. You are not using Avatar of Billy Mays, at least not on our A-Chat.
• 2. In the interest of fun, we like to keep [STD] a very active guild. One month is our general inactivity rule. So if you're going to not be playing for months at a time, [STD] probably isn't the guild for you.
• 3. Having trouble on a quest/mission/challenge/etc.? Ask for help in the guild or alliance chat. However keep your requests to a minimum, if it goes unanswered try back in 10-15 minutes. Avoid spamming chat with "HALP! HALP! HALP!" You will be kicked.
• 4. Try to keep it semi-mature, we aren't too up tight about swearing, etc. But try not to get out of hand.

Notable Members

• Pt Nightmare: Besides being Leader of the guild, and a Platinumaire. Pt is a Karaoke Star who became super popular after his stunning performance of "Chocolate Salty Balls" by Chef while at some random bar. Youtube that stuff sometime. It's a showstopper.

• Kenbu Sykes: A man who can set his priorities straight. He's stepped down from officer for the time being to focus on school and things of the sort.

• Anti Liability: Won the previous cape contest.

• Caleb Sindefy: One of the original STD officers. He's now moved on to bigger and better things outside of Guild Wars.

• EX MEMBER - Ixl Oster Ixl: ANets wonderchild. Temp banned too many times to count for use of racial slurs and eventually kicked from STD for that same reason, among others. However he was an asset to the guild's PvP prowess and GvG reputation and we would have never reached our guild rating or so much as stepped in HoH without his help.

• EX MEMBER - Flame Of Mercy: Created the longest-running inside joke of all time, transcending over three different Vent servers. Now that's hetro.

• EX MEMBER - Skyler Grom: The supplier of our Vent. She is an ex-ORDR alliance member.

• The current cape was designed by Kenbu Sykes.

• STD is an acronym for sexually transmitted diseases (A great way to get a girlfriend/boyfriend. Just say you're an STD.).
