The BPA is a small, tight-knit PvX guild consisting of people who do or used to do volunteer support work for the popular journaling site LiveJournal. The guild was founded on May 21st, 2005, in pre-Searing Ascalon City, although we did not get an actual Guild Hall until August. The current Guild Leader is Fae. The BPA has been a proud member of the The Boat Crew Alliance since the release of Factions.
PvE:
Members of the guild play mostly PvE, where we romp through Hard Mode missions and dungeons, while mocking each other on vent. Our main interests lie in having fun with the game. We do this by running areas with skillbars stolen from monsters, clearing areas such as Fissure of Woe with 8 players from the same class, or just going out for a good, old-fashioned Ponie Roflstomp. Many of our members partake in Title hunting, but, again, we try to do it while having fun. Mindless grind is mindless.
PvP:
We do also enjoy PvP, in various forms. For faction, you'll usually find us using Rend Enchantments vs stupid Luxon Nec Bombers in the Jade Quarry. We've also been known to romp through Alliance Battles and GvG. And of course Heroes' Ascent, where we play balanced builds with alliance PuGs. Bambi says 'sup?
