Recruitment

We are not a very "active" guild, more of an easy going group. If you are looking to join a helpful guild, we are happy to add you as a member. Any member who is online can be promoted to officer. The following is a listing of officers, both pre-searing and post searing, they are willing to add you to the Guild. Inactive guild officers (6+ months offline) will be placed into Members (Inactive Status) and can request immediate reactivation upon return. Inactive for one year, and we assume you died or you have found something else to play. If you do awake from the coma, you can get with us and become an officer or member again.

Responsibilities

You do not need to become an officer, if you don't want the limited obligations. Officers have the ability to invite other members and promote them to officer. You can leave the guild at anytime or even request demotion to member status. The rules to follow as an officer (representing the Guild Master) are simple;

  • Don't mess with the Message of the Day, unless you have important guild news to extend to the others.
  • Hating, scamming, and constant complaints (aka being a jerk) is about the only way to be kicked from this guild.
  • If you have time and someone asks for help, karma has its rewards.
  • If you want to add someone to the guild, remember it is your 100 gold should they leave. This happens more often than not.
  • Kicking all the MIA members. Yes it is pretty lame, but I heard some troll did this to a guild. They lost 80 members. I keep backups.

Contact information

You can make requests of this Guild on the Guild Master's talk page as well. Also dragonroars User Wendy Black At-sign.pngmail•com is guild e-mail.

Notes

  • Since there isn't much an officer can do other than invite, promote, and screw up the MotD the Guild Master has no issues with promoting mature members.
  • The Gold Vault is no longer available in pre-searing Ascalon. This feature was removed due to the lack of use.
"The Gold Vault" was the name of a character held by member Simon of Aragon who was an "on call" storage for the guild members in Ascalon (pre-Searing). He got a 5% commission for keeping your stuff safe.
  • Most active times for our guild is around the holidays. September through February seem to be very active months due to the weather.
