We are a Christian-based guild allied with the Luxons. We enjoy taking part in Jade Quarries, Alliance Battles and any part of the Player versus Environment world. The alliance leader guild is Guild:Followers O F Christ and we are one of the four guilds in the alliance still under their guild tag and rules. The alliance leader, some officers, and some of our members have been around since the game came out, and are well-experienced and willing to help out anytime, anywhere. Although the preceding information may be somewhat useful to potential new members, it is not what our guild is truly about. This is our main goal here as Followers of Christ: To help our members meet and/or grow in the Lord in every way possible and to further their relationship with Him, so that we may all grow in the body of Jesus. We take our relationship with Him very seriously and consider this alliance to be a wonderful way to be able to worship and serve Him and spread His good news to the Guild Wars world. In order to help meet this goal, we hold worship services every Sunday at 3:00 PM PST and Thursday at 5:00 PM PST in the worship channel on our Ventrilo server available to all who ask to be a part of this time. - Tuesdays @ 3:30 PM PST: Farming the various item that Nicholas the Traveler requests for that week.
- Saturdays @ 5:00 PM PST: Alternating each week between Zaishen Mission and Zaishen Bounty quests (Usually Hard Mode).
We will sometimes do the mission or bounty again the next week(s) depending on member participation or the difficulty level.
Note: You'll also want to check forums daily, as we may have different activites or events scheduled outside of these parameters.
If this is your first visit to the [FoC] guild wiki page, hello and welcome! We hope you enjoy your time with us and will stay with us so we can learn more about you and make you a part of our loving family. If you are returning to our rules page due to a rules update or just to refresh your memory, thank you for doing so. There are just a few basic rules about our guild. Your reading of these rules are required to join the guild, for both you and our guild's maximum pleasure of play and even level of understanding. A few Bible verse references have been placed in order to support some of these rules and why we have them.
- 1. Always keep the language clean! This includes cursing, initialisms such as "omg" or "wtf", sexual content, and/or any other inappropriate material. If you want to shorten a phrase such as oh my gosh you may say omgosh but don't use "omg" since it has a notority for being used against the Lord's name in vain. Please keep the language clean in guild and alliance chat, while with alliance members, and wherever you speak. God sees all and we can't hide from God like Jonah tried to do. This includes character names and pet names as well. James 3:9-12
- 2. Try to keep the environment uplifting for others and yourself. If you see anyone breaking the rules, we strongly advise and suggest you report them in the forums under the Problem Players section with a screenshot and a short description of what happened and who was involved. If you are not an officer or leader please do not try to take matters into your own hands whilst the situation is occuring, simply report it on forums if no officers are online in the guild to take care of the situation.
- 3. We welcome believers of any faith or no faith to be in our guild, but please save any religious chat or debate other than Christianity for forums and/or voice chat only, not in game. This is not a way of shutting anyone out but to simply keep the gaming environment secure for gaming purposes. No matter your beliefs, all must be treated equally with respect. 1 John 4:19; 1 Corinthians 16:14
- 4. You may ask for help (Please do not spam, only state your need once every five minutes or so.) with missions, quests, farming, buying, selling, or trading items, but please do not ask for gold (money). We will help you earn money via farming, questing or some other form if necessary. Often there are usually large quantities of people that leave the guild after borrowing money that is not repaid. You may whisper someone asking to borrow money if you feel they can trust you but [FoC] is not responsible for any kind of trade or payment. If I or other officers/members see you asking for money over alliance chat, we will kindly ask you to stop once or twice, and if it is repetitive you may be kicked from the guild.
Just a recommendation that everyone would use alliance chat as much as possible. You will not be kicked or warned for using guild chat, but this is so that we may all communicate with each other as one large family instead of being divided into just guilds. If alliance chat does not suit the conversation, you are welcome to use guild, team, or whispers.
HOW TO JOIN OUR GUILD: Just tell your recruiter this secret phrase to ensure to him or her that you have read and agree to our guild rules.
