The first guild ever created in Guild Wars! Created on March 5th 2005 - Zealots Of Shiverpeak strives to create a friendly atmosphere for both Player vs. Environment (PvE) and Player vs. Player (PvP) style play in Guild Wars. They value having fun while helping others succeed and have a great time in-game. In short, ZoS is a PvE and a PvP Guild that strives to promote a fun and friendly atmosphere for not just guild or alliance members, but the entire gaming community. Players who are willing to contribute a little bit of their gaming day to playing with other members, helping out with in-game missions, and at least trying PvP with our fabulous Guild Hall will find themselves valued members!
The Zealots look for competent, caring, and confident members who have access to the Ventrillo Voice Chat program (free to download if you have a mic) and are 15+ years of age. They also expect everyone to behave in a polite and positive manner while keeping it fun, to show some personal leadership, maturity, and to participate in Guild or Alliance events as much as possible. Events may include Alliance raids of Urgoz's Warren, or just a fun mini-questing and vanquishing day.

- The very first Guild created in Guild Wars. Zealots of Shiverpeak is the oldest Guild Wars guild, founded by Frostraven and Iceblaze well before the game's release. Their members include developer staff, alpha testers, and other players!
- Guild of the Week - May 24, 2005.
- Factions Challenge Mission. Zos Shivros Channel was named after the guild by ArenaNet as part of the reward for the hard work of a select number of Zealots on the Factions official strategy guide. Note that the guild The Amazon Basin received an equal reward in having the mission Amatz Basin named after them.
- Collector NPCs named after members. Ten members of the Zealots of Shiverpeak worked on the Factions official strategy guide, and as part of the reward an NPC Collector was placed into the game named after each of the members. Their real names were used, but they were modified to fit better with the game world. All 10 of these ZoS members can be found on the credits page of the Prima Official Factions Strategy Guilde. Their names are: Andrew Patrick ("Quaken"), John Stumme ("Spooky Electric"), Jonathan Durain ("Cait Sith"), Xavier Marchena ("Mercedes De Leone"), Dennis McCollum ("Inzane One"), Dmitry Sharkov ("Sciros Darkblade"), Christopher Triolo ("Thardus Duran"), and John Turtle ("Satanic Slayer").
- Played an important role in the official back-story lore of Guild Wars. The dark predecessors of the current guild were responsible for the death of Devona's father!
