Ascalonians[edit]

Regarding the revert; I moved them to their primary region as that is how we list in general.

Most models are first seen in Ascalon. This goes for many Krytan models, think traders, the ambassador and so on. There's even one in presearing. OTOH, if we list all Ascalonians in Ascalon, the refugees in the Shiverpeaks needs moving. Backsword 21:27, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Ok, I see your point. But the female model at least is mostly seen in Ascalon or the Shiverpeaks, there is only two I think in Kryta. Then for consistency it makes sense to have the male counterpart with it. --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 21:30, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
My thinking was that the models have anoriginal use, often tied to a generic unit, and was then reused for variety. (Even if they seems somewhat underdressed for the Shiverpeaks).
You're right about the number, but since one of those are the generic one, there is multiple instances of them, so the total number of instances are higher. Backsword 14:03, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes but this is a facility for aiding the prorogation of the images throughout the wiki. If more articles use the image in Ascalon it is surely going to be easier to find the image if it is in the Ascalon section. Maybe we should rename the pages to groups/races rather than areas. So you have Kurzicks,Krytans,Ascalonians,Canthans, etc. --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 15:30, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
As for that, finding things are easier when they are systematiclly sorted. So we should either have them per home province, or as you suggest, by origin. The latter may be preferable but has a significant problem in that we sometimes just don't know. Anyway, you've done most of the articles for these so it shouldn't be a problem. Core uses[edit]

Quite a few of the profession master pre searing NPC's are re-used in the Category:Isle of the Nameless NPCs --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 22:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Actually, that's not the trainers, but henchmen from Tyria and Cantha. Backsword 20:53, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
