Guild officer

Guild officers, or simply officers, are guild members who have been promoted into a role above standard members. They have most of the powers given to the leader. They have the ability to:

• Invite new members (at a cost of 100 per invite).
• Promote other members to officer.
• Offer guest privileges to the guild's Guild Hall (at a cost of 100).
• Kick members out of the guild.
• Update the guild announcement.

An officer (or the Guild leader) must be present to enter a rated Guild versus Guild match, often shortened as GvG. Officers cannot kick other officers out of the guild.

There are many reasons for promotion to officer which depend on the guild and its leadership. But officers might be promoted on the basis of being helpful, being online often or recruiting ability. Small guilds or guilds which focus on PvP often have all or most members as officers.
