Dialogue[edit]

"As the Zaishen's High Commissioner, I am charged with a sacred duty by the authority of High Priest Zhang to enforce the Declarations of Honor set forth as the rules and regulations for this arena."

Tell me more about this arena.

"For years, the Zaishen Order have hosted tournaments and arenas to test the skill of combatants from around the world. As we have observed the tactics of these combatants, some disturbing trends began to emerge. Over time, these trends developed into most egregious affronts on the principles of honorable combat. The High Council of the Zaishen Order assembled to address the growing problem. In the year 1588, on the first of Yundinfang, the Declarations of Honor were set forth as decreed by the High Council, and the Codex Arena was formed."

What are the Declarations of Honor?

"The Declarations of Honor are a set of tenets decreed by the Zaishen High Council to be used as the basis for this honorable arena. They are designed to pit combatants against each other under truly honorable conditions. You can view the declarations on their associated plaque."

I'm convinced that these rules of yours have changed a few times

"*cough* From time to time, the High Council of the Zaishen Order has seen fit to... adjust... the Declarations of Honor. It is for the dream of a truly honorable - and occupied - battlefield that these rules are occasionally revisited."
