- He can spawn in a team with 1-2 Skree Griffins.
- Healer's Boon makes this a hard boss to defeat, though standard caster counters work wonders on him (daze, knockdowns, enchantment removal, interrupts, etc).
- If a Skree Singer spawns in the group they can resurrect Josinq the Whisperer using "We Shall Return!". This can make killing him difficult as he will use his Renew Life to resurrect the Singer if it is killed nearby. Consider Frozen Soil.
- Any nearby monster spawns should be wiped to prevent fighting two groups at the same time (the monsters spawning with Josinq, as well as heroes and henchmen, are likely to run into aggro range of nearby groups).
