- Kenric may randomly spawn in one of the points marked on the map. He shares them with Holt the Iron Boot Heel, Cuthbert the Chaste, Garr the Merciful, Lars the Obeisant, and Manton the Indulgent. As such, there is a chance that Kenric will not spawn at all.
- Well of the Profane is a skill that may be beneficial to capture from Kenric in this mission, since it will only become available as a quest reward of the Misplaced Sword later in Heroes' Audience within the Crystal Desert.
- Order of Pain is also not available until one reaches the skill trainer in Port Sledge of the Southern Shiverpeaks.
