- Kepkhet is one of the few Prophecies bosses with a fixed position.
- Kepkhet is surrounded by several Scarab Nest Builders. Melee characters especially should be careful of the large number of traps that will be present.
- An easy strategy to taking out this boss is to bring a Ranger with a strong flatbow or longbow. Have the ranger take out all the Scarab Nest Builders surrounding Kepkhet and then take her out. The nest builders will not move.
- She is one of two bosses in the Crystal Desert with an elite skill outside of Missions (the other is Yxthoshth from the secondary profession changing quest, The Ranger's Path, available after Ascending).
- If Mark of Protection is successfully cast, applying a condition like bleeding will cause Kepkhet to use Contemplation of Purity, which will strip Mark of Protection.
- It is possible to pull Kepkhet out of the circle of foes, as the Scarab Nest Builders do not move
