Walkthrough

If you follow the path in the the map posted on the right, you will only encounter Marrow Scarabs, Minotaurs, Rockshot Devourers, and Scarab Nest Builders on your way to Kepkhet Marrowfeast. Hex removal skills are unnecessary, as the aforementioned foes do not cast hexes.

Avoid using condition-inflicting skills on Marrow Scarabs, as they will use Plague Touch and then Virulence. Marrow Scarabs use Well of the Profane, so either interrupt its activation, avoid bringing enchantments with long recharge times, and/or move away from corpses before they are exploited to create a Well of the Profane.

Rockshot Devourers and Scarab Nest Builders use Distracting Shot, so skills that block, inflict the blind condition, cause misses, or prevent interruption can be helpful. They also use numerous traps, so it may be a good idea to have one party member walk ahead of the party to trigger the traps and prevent the entire party from taking damage.

Sometimes Kepkhet Marrowfeast is hidden at first and won't popup until a party member approaches her spawn point. The Scarab Nest Builders surrounding Kepkhet Marrowfeast won't move if attacked from flatbow or longbow range, so you can cause Kepkhet Marrowfeast to deplete her energy by healing and protecting the Scarab Nest Builder prior to your party engaging Kepkhet Marrowfeast. When you go near Kepkhet Marrowfeast, several Marrow Scarabs will popup. If Kepkhet Marrowfeast casts Mark of Protection on herself, applying a condition or hex will cause her to use Contemplation of Purity and remove Mark of Protection.
