Krakens are floating squidlike creatures, similar to phantoms, though unlike phantoms they are fleshy creatures. They can be found in various areas in the Jade Sea.
According to the Bleached Bones in the Arid Sea, Krakens exist in seas near Tyria and Elona as well as in the Jade Sea.

Anomaly.Other than Zhu Hanuku, krakens use the same model and skin as Phantoms, a similar appearance to Charged Blacknesses and Grasping Darknesses, despite no notable relation. Similarly, krakens are considered fleshy despite their transparent visuals.
