This area lies northwest from Yohlon Haven, the first outpost of Kourna that characters will arrive at, after completion of the Consulate Docks mission. The next primary quest from there, Hunted!, will lead characters through this area.

- The Kournan military soldiers are of two different levels. Level 16 solders are found outside the fort; while level 20 soldiers are found inside or near the fort.
- These quests affect the spawns in this area:
- Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests yielded roughly 275 foes or so.
- Along the beach to the southeast, there are several groups of hidden Frigid Skale. Proceed along the beach slowly.
- There are also several hidden insect groups.
- Vanquishing the area with the Feeding Frenzy quest active can be helpful, since your party will gain the help of Toma, a level 22 drake that can instantly kill enemies with low health.
