- Even at 0 expertise, using this skill with a flatbow or shortbow will be as if you had +7.5 pips of energy regeneration on top of your base energy regeneration (of course, if all attacks hit).
- Most effective when very low on energy as the penalty for missing will not usually be as great, as you are already below 10 energy.
- Synergizes well with an Icy bow and Spinal Shivers or Shivers of Dread.
- Helps with offsetting the cost of repeated uses of Needling Shot.
- Powerful with attacks that fire multiple arrows along with Favorable Winds
- May be used on other primary professions for energy management.
