A Merchant summon is an NPC summoned using a Mercantile Summoning Stone who offers to buy and sell items just like a merchant. However, he will follow at a greater distance than most allies and will defend himself if attacked.

  • The merchant can wander far from the party, attracting undesired, additional enemies. Use caution summoning him in sensitive areas (e.g. The Deep or Urgoz's Warren).
  • Loot may be assigned to the merchant.
  • His weapon is considered to be a sword.
  • Occasionally the merchant will have the ascalonian merchant skin.
