- This spell won't fail if your target dies while casting it.
There is a short delay between the skill activation and the actual effect of this spell that is not stated in the description. This spell actually hits target foe's location one second after being activated (and doesn't compensate for the movement of the target), so the effect can be avoided with speed boosts (including the speed buff given to hostile NPCs in Hard mode).
