Minister Cho resides in his estate on Shing Jea Island and holds the position of Minister of Cultural Affairs for the Canthan Empire.

The Minister is also an avid animal collector, and his Menagerie boasts a collection of exotic creatures (including a number species that are otherwise endemic to Tyria). Cho is also good friends with Master Togo, the Master of the nearby Shing Jea Monastery. Every year the Master Togo brings his most promising students to the Minister's estate introduce them to the Minister.

Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers relating to the story of Factions Campaign.

During the Minister Cho's Estate mission, Minister Cho becomes afflicted with the Canthan Plague, becoming the Diseased Minister.
