A fictional character played out by Andrew Patrick. (An Anet Community Relations Coordinator) This character is portrayed to be the author of a weekly periodical featured on the official Guild Wars site. The periodical known as "The Scribe" includes insights on alliance battles, guild events, and holiday events. The roaming monastery scribe may also give credit to players who might have been caught doing acts of kindness.

  • The Monastery Scribe has been known to make appearances while Gaile Gray (Anet Community Relations Manager) has come to talk to players in-game, his chat text appears in purple.
