- Historically, Mountain Trolls have been commonly farmed for gold, although other farms have taken over in popularity since the release of Eye of the North. Their only drops, Mountain Troll Tusks, are worth 8 gold each, and weapons traded for 5 of them can be sold for 125 gold.

- Oddly, they have one eye while the rest of the trolls have two.
