Onyx Gemstones are one of the rewards for defeating a dungeon in GW:EN, and can be sold and bought at a rare material trader when they are in stock.

Onyx Gemstones were re-added into the game as of the 8/23/07 update. A slot was added to the material tab to accommodate this addition.

Onyx Gemstones can be used to craft Destroyer Weapons from Balthor Coalforge, who is located in the Slavers' Exile dungeon.
