- Beyond the initial casting, the loss of life from this skill isn't damage or sacrifice, and thus isn't affected by skills like Dark Aura or Masochism.
- This skill can cause rapid health loss with a full complement of minions.
- Use with Animate Vampiric Horror to counteract the -2% health loss.
