- Her dialouge is odd because in the beggining of it she says he died and then implies that he is still alive by stating she is going to bribe the Corsairs to let her husband free.
- Phonetically Wehsehlei is equivalent to Wesley, who is a protagonist from The Princess Bride. Wesley "dies" at sea when his ship is taken by the Dread Pirate Roberts, although in fact Wesley manages to apprentice to the pirates and later assumes the role of Dread Pirate Roberts himself.
