Primordus

Spoiler alert: The following text contains spoilers relating to the story of Eye of the North.
Primordus is one of the ancient dragons. Until recently, he lay dormant far beneath the Central Transfer Chamber, but at the end of the Eye of the North campaign, he begins to awaken.
Previously thought to be a statue, according to Vekk, the Central Transfer Chamber was in fact built in such close proximity to him because the "statue" "practically bleeds magic". It can be conjectured from this that Primordus in fact powers the Asura Gate network.
It is known that the Great Destroyer was merely a general of Primordus, albeit his greatest one. The destruction of the Great Destroyer set Primordus' awakening back by generations.
