Skill type. Ranged attacks are attacks performed with ranged weapons - bows, spears, staves and wands. Ranged attacks can refer to either a normal attack made with a ranged weapon or a specific type of skill performed with ranged weapons. Ranged attacks have the same damage type as the weapon used to perform them.

• A ranged attack is performed whenever a projectile is fired, thrown or discharged from a character's ranged weapon.

• As a skill type, ranged attacks can be performed with any type of ranged weapon.

• Attacking spirits from Binding rituals and Bone Fiends both use ranged attacks.
