Objectives

• Kill Quansong Spiritspeak in Tahnnakai Temple.
• *BONUS* Kill Quansong Spiritspeak in Hard Mode.
• See Zehnchu [Zaishen Challenge] for your reward.

Reward

• 1,000 Experience
• 500 Gold
• Complete the Base Objective for 20 Zaishen Copper Coins.
• Complete the *BONUS* Objective for an additional 50 Zaishen Copper Coins.

Walkthrough

Head north through the Tahnnakai Temple explorable area from Zin Ku Corridor. Be prepared for area of effect fire damage from the Temple Guardians around him. If you follow the path in the the map posted on the right, you will only encounter Temple Guardians on your way to Quansong Spiritspeak.

Skill recommendations

• You will not encounter any physical attackers, so skills that block, cause misses, or inflict the blind condition are less effective here; however, Temple Guardians have Stun on Critical Hit.
• Quansong Spiritspeak and Temple Guardians are not fleshy creatures, so skills that exploit corpses and inflict bleeding, disease, or poison are ineffective against them.
• You will only encounter spellcaster mobs, so consider bringing anti-caster skills and/or various Ranger nature rituals that can benefit your party but cannot benefit the Temple Guardians (such as Favorable Winds, Infuriating Heat, and Winnowing).
• Temple Guardians have less armor rating against cold damage, so consider bringing Winter or skills that deal cold damage. Consider bringing Water Magic hex spells that snare and deal cold damage (i.e. Deep Freeze, Ice Spikes, Mind Freeze, and Shard Storm), which will slow their movement speed and can help in preventing them from reaching your midline/backline and dealing point blank area of effect damage from Temple Guardians' Double Dragon and Quansong Spiritspeak's Ancestors' Rage.
• Temple Guardians have less armor rating against blunt damage, so consider using a weapon that deals blunt damage.
