At the southeastern corner of Drakkar Lake your party will see a Rabbit. As you approach, the Rabbit will run down a circular warren with a beautiful pool and tree at the bottom. When the rabbit arrives at the bottom, several other rabbits will spawn and all will turn hostile. Worse, Nulfastu will spawn with dozens of other Vaettirs swarming the whole area

- This warren is an obvious reference to Lewis Carroll's 1865 publication, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, where Alice followed a white rabbit into a wonderland is similar to other allusions of (the naivety of) following a trail into unknown (usually dangerous) situations, such as:
- The "killer rabbit" in the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, wherein all who ventured into the cave were never seen again.
- The white rabbit that Neo is told to follow in the 1999 movie The Matrix, which led him to the truth of his existence (which also is in turn a reference to Alice in Wonderland).
