- Travel to the bridge and make certain that it is secure.
- Locate the stairs and make certain that they are secure.
- Find the giant mushrooms and make certain that they are secure.
- Head to the western shore of the lake and make certain that it is secure
- See Scoutmaster Arne for your reward.

Simply visit each of the four areas. Luxons will spawn on the way, but killing them is not required. Return to Scoutmaster Arne for your reward.

- "Scuttlebutt has it you're looking to help us keep the forest secure. Maybe that's true, maybe it's not, but if you want to prove it, then you can do a little job for me. Now, it's not common knowledge, but we Kurzicks can't spare the manpower to keep the entire forest safe. Luxons rampage through our lands and wreak havoc when they meet no resistance. That's where you come in. I'll mark four specific trouble spots on your map. Once you've scouted all of them and made sure they are secure, return to me and tell me what you found. If you happen to run into any Luxon raiding parties, feel free to deal with them however you please. I recommend a sharp blade and no mercy."
- Accept: "Sounds routine. No problem."
- Decline: "Find someone else to run your errand."
- When asked about quest: "Yes? Did you secure those 4 areas yet? Then get moving already!"

- This quest is used for Kurzick fast faction farming.
- You can visit any location in any order that you please. Also, you do not have to start the quest before going to the locations- This will save you from having to deal with the Luxons. (Recommended that you don't start this quest until you visit all of the locations while Kurzick Fast Faction Farming, aka FFF, due to the fact that you have enough enemies to deal with, and the Luxons will just make things harder.)
- Map travel will cancel the quest even after completing it.
