The Shadow Army is the main enemy forces of Balthazar's Eternals. They are the forces of Menzies, Balthazar's half brother, and the army is staged in the never-ending plane of Ravenheart Gloom. Their ranks are completely composed of Nightmares.

- Most of the Shadow Army resemble the White Mantle, though there is no connection.
- Nightfall Shadow Army creatures are considered "demonic servants of Abaddon" by Lightbringer's Gaze, but are not considered demons by weapons of Demonslaying.
