- This boss does not spawn if the quest A Deal's a Deal is active.
- It is possible to kill this boss to capture its elite without completing the Gate of Desolation mission. Joko's Domain is accessible via Basalt Grotto and the path to this boss does not go through any sulfurous sand.
- There are many creatures surrounding Shekoss the Stony, so pulling is essential if you want to kill him.
