A wolf is a charmable animal that can be found in pre-Searing Ascalon and in the Southern Shiverpeaks.

[edit] Notes

• Unlike most charmable animals, they are not passive.
• Wolves are occassionally called Snow Wolves.
• Wolves deal slashing damage.
• A level 15 charmable Elder Wolf may appear near Thul The Bull in Spearhead Peak. It will turn hostile when the player approaches, but can be charmed anyway if no Stone Summit are nearby to charm it before.
• Unlocking cost: 1 plus 100 or 1,000 Balthazar Faction (Common, Tyria)
  • PvP-only characters will get a level 20 Elder Wolf the first time they equip Charm Animal, due to this, a player can unlock this pet in the Zaishen Menagerie simply by creating a PvP-only character.
