This article about an ArenaNet employee is a stub. You can help by expanding it.Dr. Stephen Clarke-Willson is the current Game Director of Guild Wars and a Vice President of IT at NCSoft. He received his Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science from University of California, Irvine in 1986. Before moving into the video game industry, Dr. Clarke-Willson worked on the United States Air Force's B-2 bomber, developing mission planning avionics.
He started in the game industry in 1990 as a producer at Virgin Interactive, where he produced or executive produced several popular titles including The Seventh Guest, Dune and Cool Spot. He returned to his programming roots at ArenaNet as a server programmer after working on the DirectSong music store, which sold Guild Wars soundtracks.
