[edit] Walkthrough
After talking with Field General Hayao after Zaishen Elite in the Plains of Jarin make your way to The Astralarium. Enter Zehlon Reach and proceed south to find Acolyte Jin, Balthazar's Eternal, and two Ghostly Griffons. Defeat the Eternals and report back to Field General Hayao at the Sun Docks.

Field General Hayao
- "The Zaishen are sworn blades of Balthazar, loyal to the end. You have chose Jin as your pupil. It is time to show your student what it is to be fierce through actions, not words. Together you must defeat one of Balthazar's Eternals in combat. Only through victory in the face of death will you be forever bonded with your sister in arms. You will find the Eternal in Zehlon Reach."
- Accept: "We'd best not keep Balthazar waiting."
- Decline: "Balthazar, eh? I think I hear my mom calling me...."
- When asked about quest: "Acolyte Jin is in the Zehlon Reach. She will call forth the Eternal once you arrive."

- Acolyte Jin: "Excellent battle tactics, I am honored to be trained by one so versed in combat."

- "As her trainer, I think it best you knew something about your pupil. Jin is from a small town on the Cantha coast, and is mainly self-taught. Her family was slain by monsters when she was a small girl. As an orphan, she focused her sorrow and rage on vengeance. Even before coming to the Zaishen, she was an effective fighter. She is quiet and taciturn when off the battlefield, methodical and deadly when on. She never backs down from a fight. Good luck, hero. Go with the blessing of Balthazar."

- Although Balthazar's Eternal takes the place of a boss type monster in this battle, it is not a boss that you can use a Signet of Capture on to capture a skill.
