Sunspear Scouts are placed near every resurrection shrine in Istan, and several shrines in Vabbi. Istan and Vabbi are located in the continent Elona, exclusive to the Nightfall campaign. These Sunspear Scouts will give you a blessing, or a bounty, which gives you double XP and differing Sunspear Promotion Points for every certain type of monster you kill. These blessings can tell you to kill Corsairs, plants, insects, skree harpies, mandragors, skales, undead, heket, and minotaurs.

After reaching Sunspear Castellan, on Istan:

"It's not my place to say such things, but you'd really be more help to Istan if you took on a greater challange."

Kournan Bounty (in Yatendi Canyons)

"I was in Vabbi when Varesh banished the Sunspears from Kourna and closed the borders. Since then, I've watched her military forces move north. They've got some incredibly strong soldiers in their midst... stronger than anything the princes have here! They must be stopped, but it's going to take a hero to do it! I've spotted Kournan troops in the area. Go after them while I keep my eyes open."

Accept: It's time to stop running. Let's show the Kournans who they're fighting!

Decline: I'm still on the run myself.

After receiving the bounty: You do not fight alone, friend. Take the battle to the Kournans!

Sunspear scouts are stationed at every resurrection shrine in Istan. We can tell you about some of the dangers in the area, and inform you of any bounties.
