I like this skill. Raptaz 13:48, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

Anyone else think this skill is overpowered? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:70.117.4.229 .

Yesh Yesh , Assassin/W with Locust's Fury can spam this endlessly and drain your energy in no time , its annoying >_<. Maybe give it a recharge of 4 seconds =o Aljazya 06:32, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

na a recharge wud just kill the whole skill make it like if u have over 50% hp lol that probably an awful idea but it cud work

wud YOU fear a warior with under 50% hp? Destructos Maximus 22:38, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nerfed

Awesome~ but it does kill a lot of fun builds...--74.61.209.219 19:16, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

They could have removed the skill as well, not many people will use it anymore at all. Plus it did not balance but destroy fear me builds. --Longasc 19:25, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
EC: Giving it a recharge was just cruel. Adrenaline increase would have done fine, but now this completely destroys it. --97.100.157.41 19:28, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
SS has a 6 sec recharge, Izzy is a twat and can't play the game without IWAYing so he doesn't nerf it. Nice try Izzy, but who who you trying to fool? — Skadiddly[슴Mc슴]Diddles 19:29, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Steady Stance is fine. IWAY was never really a threat unless it was matched up against a team that didn't understand how to overcome the pressure it relied on. With "Fear Me!" no longer being energy denial on command, IWAY will still pump out somewhat decent pressure, but it will be far easier for newer, less experienced Monks to mitigate that pressure, which will leave the rest of the team free to remove the Paragons from play and then pick off the Warriors. This change was an effective, if not exactly eloquent, way of putting an end to the various degenerate builds that relied on this skill. Faer 19:35, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
The real problem is, not that IWAY has been nerfed, but so many other, balanced builds have been nerfed along with it. I had a HB build that was an extreme pressure, enchant removal, and e-deny with Fear Me. Now monks are even MORE powerful in HB...HB needs more maps or a new game mechanic, or something, because its getting harder and harder to kill player monks.

GFTE and Watch Yourself became about useless when they had recharges added. Recharges on addrenal skills is STUPID. Just up the cost a little. --He-who-still-hates-that-he-ever-made-a-paragon

Uh, those shouts are still fair e-management, just not ridiculously imba on paragons like they were before. Seriously, if you think paragons are bad, you may as well quit the game. --click moar Mafaraxas 04:43, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but they're not energy management skills. One's an armor buff and the other's a minor damage buff. Stop changing the topic. Just because a skill still has some alternate use doesn't mean it's any less bad. And yes, sure. Paragons are okay as a damaging class. But, they were designed as a support class -- a role at which they suck.
Focused Anger + "Save Yourselves!" + Aggressive Refrain = win PvE. And "WY!" is still good with moderate tactics investment if you didn't want to run the previously mentioned combo; +18AL is equivalent to about 20% damage reduction. GFTE has always been primarily used as an e-management skill - crits hardly matter for anyone but sins in PvE. Having no recharge on WY/GFTE basically meant click here for 5 energy every 4 seconds for paragons, which is equal to or better than most elite e-management skills for other classes. The WY/GFTE nerf was just necessary. --click moar Mafaraxas 23:46, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Necessary, yes. But as it was, no. It is unfortunate that people must super-optimize and meta-game so much. I never even though of using those skills other than for their intended purposes until they were nerfed and I tried to find out why. And refer yourself again to the build you suggested -- that's a damage build (which is all the class has left), not a support build (which is what the profession was introduced as).
"that's a damage build" Uh... no it isn't. The point is to be able to maintain "Save Yourselves!", which last I checked, isn't a damage skill. I'm sorry you didn't see the synergy between 4 adrenaline shouts and Leadership to provide energy for everything a paragon could need, but many others did, which is why they were nerfed. --click moar Mafaraxas 19:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

ArenaNet again nerfing something because noobs complains? OMG!, Why not just make a PvP guide instead of mission pack wallpapers? --NeHoMaR Image:User_NeHoMaR_sig.jpg 22:23, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps a bit overnerfed, but it was a good idea. Dark Morphon(contribs) 12:13, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

I would just put it into warrior-other make it cost 3-4 adrenaline and the denial should be 2 energy.(half of what it used to be).Lilondra 12:54, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

I say make the range earshot and keep it how it is. 69.143.6.8 13:37, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

No more energy rape with 80% dbl strike and flurry :( --litttlebeck 01:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

the A/W's were overpowered, but now this skill is totally useless, make it strenght, remove the recharge... :/ 84.192.144.207 17:44, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

They should seriously consider reducing the Recharge to 4 seconds or less, and increase the adrenaline cost a corresponding amount. This would at least make it worth tinkering with for players who didn't rely on A/W locust strike/flurry builds. - PizzaboyFaul 19:23, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Like 84.192.144.207 said, move it into strength, it makes sense for a reason. Your a warrior, your mad. You have anger and you Yell in their faces to fear them. Halogod35 05:49, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Agrees, just put it in strenght, remove recharge, and have it so that it dont cause any e-loss till ur over 1 strenght just 2 make sure that no other class can touch it =)))) WARS FTW!!!--79.70.90.57 16:11, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
The problem with this skill was spammability and the fact that the energy loss always triggers. Changing it to affect only foes who are using skills would allow it to lose the recharge while losing it's ability to be spammed mindlessly. Other triggers, such as draining energy only on foes that are moving (running away, like the trigger on "Coward!"), on knocked down foes (that'd be narrow, but it would be like "On Your Knees!") or even on foes below 50% health like "You Will Die!". Moving it to strength doesn't make much sense to me, but would work on staving off assassins using this which is probably a good thing. RitualRitualistDoll 00:17, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Name Change

Okay, I just tried to correct the name, but I'm a little laking in knowledge of how to properly format stuff here. In game there are no quotation marks around Fear Me!, not sure when this changed, but it has. ~ Da Si 22:37, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

You're right, there aren't! Just checked my Warr. Hm. Well, it has to be moved, and the image must be changed. I'll take care of it. --Chaiyo Kaldor חיו 22:42, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
