[edit] Aggro control?

This is something I'm curious about, but not having this skill or the means to acquire it, I would like to ask everyone else...One of the rumored ways aggro works in Guild Wars is that enemies target those with the lower armor. If so, this skill would make everyone to target only the warrior, as he would be the one with the lowest armor in the group. We know it's not that black of white (that's not the only way aggro works), but I would like to ask if those who have been using this skill have noticed a tendency of getting more aggro when doing so. Erasculio 22:02, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

who said this was supposed to go on a warrior, this looks to me like a bonder skill, with aura of balth the bonder get ridculas amounts of adrenaline, stick this skill on it and BAM!! you got urself a partywide +100 armour =) Quazark Zeklar 22:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
But then all the enemies are attacking the bonder with the lowest AL. Not a bad idea though. --Image:VallenIconwhitesmall.JPG Vallen Frostweaver 23:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
He could just stay in the back, as all decent bonders would do? Saph 18:41, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
I find it a good skill on a warrior, when combined with a dragon slash build, and infuriating head can help. This skill, at rank 1, probably mad it possible for me to do Dzagonur Bastion on HMKiller Revan 14:24, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Hehe or just stick it on a Paragon, works great in combo with Spear of Fury ;) Liselle Morrow 21:53, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Better yet, stick it on a few Barrage rangers. You'll always have +100 armor.-(Japanties 02:14, 18 October 2007 (UTC))
Yup, that's amazing. My Barrager uses it all the time. Ironboot 14:52, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

The skill states gain 100 armor not gain +100 armor, while all the other similar skills like "Watch Yourself!" and "Stand Your Ground!" use the +armour formula. Its not that the other party members gain X amount of armour to get to lvl 100 armour? Per example casters with 60AL affected by this shout gain 60+40AL to get to 100AL not 60+100=160AL!? Anyone has tested this skill?Spaghetti 13:59, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

interesting point. I might go into the Isle of the Nameless and try it out against the catupult damage (fixed damage so easy to test). 129.67.17.233 02:12, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Save yourself the time (scnr), it means +100 armor, not upping the armor to 100. Would be quite a limiter if it would be upping to 100 only, and IIRC we have no skill that would work that way. --Longasc 10:27, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
If I said "Bring me a coke, and you will gain 10 dollars". Doesn't that mean you'll have +10 dollars? You're implying it means "Well, if I have 5 dollars, then I gain another five, to equal ten". In my world, gain = +, so gain 100 armor = +100 armor.--ChristopherRodrigues 02:41, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
In the French game, it is specified a +100 armor bonus--77.194.160.27 18:18, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Armor cap

If "Save Yourselves!" gives other party members 100 armor, and not +100 armor, does this contribute to the +AL cap? Axel Zinfandel 06:26, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Scratch that, someone decided to be a noob and edit the page wrong Axel Zinfandel 00:52, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, there used to be an argument here or on GuildWiki that it gave exactly 100 armor, so the noob was me. I'm not editing skill pages anymore, cuz I always give false info. Ninjas In The Sky 16:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Hey, no prob, it happens :) Axel Zinfandel 18:19, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reference?

To me sounds like a reference to Drawn Together the first episode i think when that superhero guy shouts "Save yourselves!" and flies away. (Zyko Wolfven 09:51, 20 April 2008 (UTC))

Yeah you really nailed it.24.47.18.113 05:41, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Drawn Together ftw, but i really doubt this. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 20:07, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] THIS SKILL IS GOD!

This is the best skill in the game IMO, if u can keep this up all the time and hav a few decent healers, you CANNOT die

Visit Barrage and see how to upkeep this on a R/W. plz sign ur comments with ~~~~ Ninjas In The Sky 14:15, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Sigh, what am i about this skill is aweasome. :P--Super Igor 21:44, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Campaigns

You are able to get Luxon/Kurzick faction without having factions. Wouldn't that make this a core skill, or do you have to own Factions to buy the skills? Because even if these skills are technically from the Factions campaign, if you don't have to own Factions to get them, they should be under core IMO. <>208.117.81.202 21:23, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Wait, you can get alliance faction? How? There's Alliance Battles, which you can't do without Factions; and quests, which are pve Factions; there are other ones, but they're better documented elsewhere. Sure, you get the meter without Factions, but that's not important. Anything to add to those pages? --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 21:34, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
you can do AB with the pvp access pack. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.87.249.231 (talk • contribs) at 17:46, 14 July 2008 (UTC).
Ah, OK. I think I checked that after I posted, or it might have come up somewhere else. Well, are the skills the kit gives all core? If not, you can't exactly call the kit itself core, so the skills aren't core. Even if they are, there are still skills which can be obtained outside of their own campaign through the Signet of Capture, so quite a few skills in Factions might also be called Nightfall skills, and many elites could be considered GWEN skills. The point is that this, along with all other faction PvE skills, was introduced with Factions, and that's how they're organized. --Chaiyo Kaldor talk contribs 17:54, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] August 08 update

There honestly was no point in updating this skill, it really made no difference. 'Save Yourselves' imo is one of the best pve skills out. I say this becuase i am an Imbagon and i run this skill always. now the increased duration is nice but really, a pointless update. you gave paras focused anger and spear of fury, there's no reason to increase the duration. on the otherhand, it would have been tons better if the armor was turned into +100 armor... no? now that's what i would call an update. =D --~Phill Gaston ‎ 17:48, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Um, the skill is and always has been +100 armour... that's why it reduces 82.5% of damage taken! (that's why imbagon works!) - Revelation 18:17, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Eh, saves me the trouble of grinding out faction for the track, as the imbagon works alright with only 4 sec duration (obviously 6 sec would give more leeway). --Zarfol 20:29, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
The duration wasn't increased... the scaling was. The update simply made the skill more viable at a lower rank seeing as it's been a long time since the skills were released and I think you will find most players had rank 4 or below in allegiance rank. As it is, to use this skill you only need to get rank 4 to get 1 second short of maximum effectiveness. 122.104.161.96 07:05, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Stupid update to all the skills to be honest, means that all the guys that have grinded their arses off (including me) to get high tier titles for the max affectiveness have just been shot in the foot... --86.153.77.247 12:39, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
