Miniatures are considered allies?[edit]

Miniatures are considered allies? thats kinda funny. Rurik, stab his toenails! The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.88.161.146 (talk • contribs) 20:40, 17 January 2008 (UTC).

That's probably one of the reasons you can't take out miniatures in PvP. --Curse You 00:49, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
I doubt that's the reason, because it's a bug, after all. 203.94.61.143
Actually things like this are why you cant use things like this in pvp. --Lou-SaydusHow dare you put that damned dirty thing on me! 02:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
Why? You can't take minipets out in PvP. Dark Morphon(contribs) 13:19, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
The reason you can't take them out is because of skills like "You're All Alone!". If you could, "You're All Alone!" would be completely useless, as everyone would just make sure to take out a miniature before every fight. --Curse YouCurse You(talk|contribs) 20:33, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
I loled. So true. Bisurge 05:43, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
I believe they affect paragons as well.70.100.80.18 18:07, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Lol if they do, that's so imba. -- Halogod35 TALK TO ME NAO plz. :D 16:00, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
They do. --Shadowcrest 16:15, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I dont think its a bug that miniatures are considered allies. Technically, everything moving is either an animation (which is probably too complicated to be programmed to act randomly, follow your char, etc.), a foe (impossible for a minipet), or an ally.
Yeah, they have to be. I once (by cliking ridiculously high in the air above it) targeted a miniature mandragor imp someone else had taken out, and its name was bright green. Paddymew 07:35, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Not all moving things are considered enemies, allies or the like. The blue ox things in the games are allies you cannot target. This is seen when you damage them with a trap. However, things such as the little turtles, pigs and so on are actually just part of the environment if you look at it that way since traps do not hurt them. Either that or they are imbalanced --> invincible. I just looked into it, and mini pets are not considered allies as they do not increase allow a paragon to gain extra energy from a shout that affects allies. In my case, I used "Go for the Eyes!" solo and only got one energy back with my mini out.98.124.27.250 01:10, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Minipets are considered partymembers, and as some "pcons adjacent" items they impact the environment, amongst other things the lootscaling (I canno't remember if loot to it gets assigned to the player wielding it or if if get assigned to no one, but IF i recall right it's the former) - one of the reasons it's impopular when someone uses them in elite areas. There are also skills that under some circumstances can activate with the help of minipets.

Ummm if target has a pet it does work... just used it and no one else in my team had cripple, you probably mean that bc the pet is always going to be nearby but sometimes it isn't. You are suggesting if target has a pet it will not work at all even if it's not at said range. Thanks. The guy is wearing a warrior's shing jea armor...Bive

I'm not sure if that's related to some of the nerfs made to IWAY. ---Chaos- 12:30, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
yes its just like a regular ally, if its not near u while YAA is activated, u will still be weakened crippled, i know that from farming colossals outside the astralarium, and sometimes the mini charr just couldnt keep up, lol --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.193.150.222 (talk).
"Ummm if target has a pet" is either a misunderstanding or kinda trollish when we are discussing minipets... Paddymew 20:53, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

sooo yay or nay on this skill?[edit]

considering capping it went to look here if people thought it was good. so far no yays or nays. I have litle exp with a war though and i'm pretty sure that using it on hero's would for the most part be useless because only few enemies will have no other peeps around it. how's about pvp? Materia user 18:02, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I explored its use, but because it is a no damage elite its not that useful in PvP where condition removals are ramped up... I've seen some Sin bars use it as their targeets are often alone and they prefer to solo them quickly... so the snare works... MrPaladin talk 18:05, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Cover[edit]

Does Cripple cover Weakness or vice-versa? It's not noted in the "Notes" section of this article. --Silver Edge 20:10, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

IIRC, cripple covers weakness. I may be wrong, though. RfR it? — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 16:49, 31 Oct 2010 (UTC)
Tested in Chahbek Village, weakness covers cripple. --Silver Edge 07:36, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

song[edit]

i don't know the name of this song but it could be a refference?

"Its oo so quiet, shhh shhh, Its oo so still, shhh shhh, you're all alone , shhh shhh, so peacefull until..." --Frozen Ice Prince 16:22, 8 April 2011 (UTC)

I think it's a reference to the fact that the foe is all alone. Let's add that to the page!--User Oneshot O.JPGneshot. 16:32, 8 April 2011.
And the name is "It's Oh So Quiet", by Bjork. But a very unlikely reference. --talk Large 20:26, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
In addition, there are at least a half-dozen other songs. Unless there's something else linking the skill name to a source, I gotta go with Oneshot's idea: it's just a name.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:33, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Also it could wery well be a jab on Nighfalls theme "You never fight alone!", and by fighting alone you get reminded in form of this skill. As I remember it was quite often used by Kournan soldiers. 195.148.28.191 08:28, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Cripple Mod[edit]

Just felt like letting everyone know that Cripple or Weakness can be continually maintained when a 33% mod is used.72.199.116.177 08:43, 18 July 2011 (UTC)

About trivia[edit]

IMHO, "You're All Alone!" it's like Startrek borgs handle as by they theory when they alone they weak, especially it remember me Startrek - Voyager TV Series - 4 season 25 episode "One" when (citate from IMDB) "An unavoidable poisonous nebula forces the entire crew into stasis chambers - all except the unaffected Doctor and Seven Of Nine (ex borg), who must fight her nearly life long "collective" mentality to handle being alone for over a month while combating ship-wide failures, a strange alien intruder, and her own fears of individuality and loneliness.". So she see glitches with borgs then they say: You alone! You weak! You will die alone! and etc...

Sorry for poor english! Agira.

what? DemonicFahrirUser Demonic Fahrir Sig.jpg 10:41, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
"You're alone" and "you're all alone" are fairly predictable phrases from b-movie dialogue, e.g. where the killer phones up his next victim to scare her (you're all alone... and no one can save you). I'm not saying the dev team absolutely wasn't inspired by a specific phrase from a specific movie or tv episode, but there doesn't seem much to back up Star Trek or the Borg as the source. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:19, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Sticks and stones[edit]

Apparently mobs in PvE aren't phased by this taunt. Using it doesn't agro the enemy, even if the conditions are applied. 118.209.171.108 20:38, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

It also doesn't cause charmable animals to become foes. --Silver Edge 07:34, 22 April 2012 (UTC)

AI oddities[edit]

At first, the AI seemed to use this skill on foes that are not near any party member. Tested against Master of Damage and Chahbek Village HM. Then I noticed something contrary to this. When flagging my heroes into the aggro range of Corsair Buccaneers, they don't use it. However, when I run in with my heroes in a cluster, they use it (tested two times each). I confirmed in the party window that no ally was affected. I can't tell what condition controls it, but it's certainly not used as intended. Cealdor (talk) 06:37, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
